Polaroid guide: how to show up to a casting

Natural light, no filters and the shots every booker expects.

Polaroids, or digitals, are the most honest photos in your book. Clients ask for them to see what you look like today, with no styling, makeup or retouching.

Stand by a window in natural light, against a plain background, in fitted neutral clothes. Wear your hair back or natural, as your booker asks.

The basic shots are face front, profile, half body and full body. Retake them whenever your haircut or measurements change.
